Welcome to our Blog!

This is now the official welcoming party for this blog, which will be linked to our website, www.longfellowspdx.com, and which hopefully will become a place for us to keep customers and friends of the store in the loop regarding new acquisitions and our plans for the store. We are in the process of updating most everything about the store, if only because with both of us here, we now have more energy than only one of us would have. Nile, who's writing this, is now a regular fixture in the store and is intent upon making more people aware of our presence here in Portland. We think that we have a great store and we would like this to be a place that all book lovers need to visit regularly. Wish us luck with those things. In conjunction with the desire to make the bookstore a more vibrant place, I am in the process of organizing our stock, particularly our magazines, and also in making this place a haven for collectors of sports and music memorabilia, at least the stuff we have.
